Aaron Vaccaro
VICE PRESIDENT
Aaron Vaccaro is Vice President at WestRiver Group. Since joining WRG in 2015, he has been actively involved in the company’s investment strategy and portfolio company operations.
From 2015 until its sale to Callaway Golf Company in 2021, Vaccaro worked closely with WRG Founder and CEO Erik Anderson to build Topgolf Entertainment Group, focusing on finance, strategy, and operations. He helped raise more than $600 million of capital and led the strategic acquisitions of Protracer and WGT Media, though he never did learn to golf.
Today, Vaccaro is a leader on the investment team at WRG, focusing on experience and technology. He also co-leads the development and implementation of the company’s Model Thinking philosophy, created by Erik Anderson as a system of long-term business building and value creation.
In addition to his role at WRG, Vaccaro serves as President of Singularity University, an innovation company that believes technology and entrepreneurship can solve the world’s greatest challenges. He also serves on the boards of Liquor Laboratory and The Listening Room Café, and as a board observer at Talespin Reality Labs and ONEHOPE.
Vaccaro holds a Master's in Finance from the Robert Day School of Economics and Finance at Claremont McKenna College and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematical Economics (Cum Laude) from Whitworth University, where he was a four-time NCAA All-American in swimming and is now Chairman of the Business Advisory Board at the Whitworth School of Business . He and his wife live in Northern California.
